Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,800): Hood’s scoring has been down lately as he has struggled a bit with his shot, but he continues to contribute solid numbers overall as he plays big minutes for Utah.  He has at least 25 fantasy points in nine of his last ten games and each of his last five.  He had 27 fantasy points against the Celtics on Monday with 11 points, seven assists, and four rebounds.  He’s a solid option who won’t put up a total dud and who could go off if his shot starts dropping. ∗∗

Eric Gordon-New Orleans Pelicans (5,300): Gordon returned with a bang dropping 31 points on the Timberwolves on Saturday in his first game since breaking a finger back on January 19. Gordon totaled 44.25 fantasy points in that contest, and he should be in a place to be involved again tonight in a favorable matchup against the Rockets who allow the eighth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG.  Gordon is risky because he so recently returned from injury, but he reminded us all of how dynamic he can be, and the Pelicans will need him to play well the rest of the way since Tyreke Evans is out for the year. ∗∗∗∗

J.J. Redick-Los Angeles Clippers (5,300):  Redick had 19 points and 26.75 fantasy points on Monday against the Nets given him at least 25 fantasy points in three of his last four games.  He’ll need to step up his scoring tonight against the Thunder, so look for him to be aggressive and get off plenty of shots tonight.  He isn’t a lock to deliver full value since he doesn’t contribute much outside of his scoring numbers, but he’s a good play in the late game tonight in what I think will end up being a shootout. ∗∗∗

Gary Harris-Denver Nuggets (5,000): If you don’t trust Redick or Gordon, Gary Harris is another good option as the Nuggets adjust to life without Danilo Gallinari.  Harris has scored at least 14 points in five of his last six games and has over 21 fantasy points in six of his last eight. He’s in an excellent matchup against the Lakers backcourt tonight, so look for a good night from the rookie SG who is getting tons of run in the Denver backcourt. ∗∗∗

Dion Waiters-Oklahoma City Thunder (4,100): Waiters has at least 23 fantasy points in three of his last four games and went off for 22 points against the Kings on Monday. Waiters has never been shy about taking shots, but he finally started making them. He’s playing as OKC’s sixth-man now and could be a solid value tonight against LA. ∗∗

Mario Hezonja-Orlando Magic (3,700): Hezonja has been pushed into the starting lineup with the injury to Evan Fournier, and he had two nice games of over 22 fantasy points before disappearing last night and only finishing with 5.5 fantasy points. Hopefully everyone else moves on from him tonight, and he’s barely owned as the Magic take on the Bulls.  Super Mario should get another start though with Fournier considered doubtful, and I wouldn’t read too much into yesterday’s rotation since Aaron Gordon and Victor Oladipo also sat much of the second half along with Hezonja. ∗∗
