New England Patriots

If there is a team that would give Andre Johnson an excellent chance at winning a Super Bowl, it’s the New England Patriots. They are a team that are consistently title contenders and Johnson would get an opportunity to play for quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick. New England desperately needs to find Brady some reliable receivers. Johnson is quite reliable and would likely emerge as one of Brady’s favorite targets.

Brady has proven with guys like Wes Welker and Julian Edelman that if you can run routes properly, he’ll throw you the ball. Johnson despite his age is still one of the best route runners in the NFL. He also plays with a chip on his shoulder, something that the Patriots organization has done for quite some time. That would make him a great fit for the team.

Andre Johnson would have been the Patriots third leading receiver last season and would be an upgrade over Brandon LaFell. LaFell would be able to be the fifth receiver, which might be the role that he is best suited for. Johnson is a team player, which is important for the Patriots. Grabbing Andre Johnson would once again make the Patriots a Super Bowl favorite in 2016.
