DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 5
High Salary PG
Chris Paul-Los Angeles Clippers (9,500): CP3 is the most expensive PG on the board tonight, but it’s easy to see why. He has seven double-doubles in his last eight games with over 42 fantasy points in each of those eight contests. He went off for a massive 76 fantasy points against the Kings last weekend and has followed it with 53 fantasy points against Brooklyn and 50 fantasy points against the Thunder. The Hawks are a decent matchup for him tonight, but he’s a good play simply because he totally runs the Clippers attack and is so involved in almost every offensive play with Blake Griffin still sidelined.∗∗∗
John Wall-Washington Wizards (9,300): Wall only played 28 minutes against the Cavs since Cleveland returned the favor and blew out the Wizards after Washington blew them out on Sunday. Wall has been held under 41 fantasy points in each of his last two games now, but he definitely has the potential to bounce back tonight in a matchup with the Pacers. The loss yesterday snapped a four-game winning streak, but Washington will look to get back on track tonight. ∗∗
Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (7,600): Thomas takes on the Cavs like Wall did yesterday and the sometimes-absent defense of Kyrie Irving. Thomas had a big game last night against the Knicks scoring 32 points to go with eight assists, three rebounds, and two steals on his way to 52.75 fantasy points. He has at least 39 fantasy points in six of his last nine games, and he has scored over 30 points in each of his last two. Look for him to tear up Kyrie tonight as the Celtics try to knock off the Cavs for the second time this season. ∗∗∗∗
Reggie Jackson-Detroit Pistons (6,600): Jackson gets to face the team that IT4 crushed yesterday as he and the Pistons visit the Big Apple to face the Knicks who are playing for the second night in a row. Jackson had a bad game in San Antonio finishing with just 11 points and 19.25 fantasy points, but he had four games with at least 30 fantasy points in his previous five contests. Jackson has averaged 19 points, seven assists, and three rebounds against the Knicks in his two games against them this season, but I see him having a good chance to exceed those numbers tonight as he continues to run the Detroit offense. ∗∗∗
