High Value PG

Tony Parker-San Antonio Spurs (5,000): Parker has had three down games in his last three contests, but he had reeled off four straight with over 25 fantasy points in the four games before that including a matchup with tonight’s opponent, the Kings.  In that game, Parker had 23 points and six assists on his way to 34.25 fantasy points. The Kings allow the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG which is the most of any team in action tonight.  If Parker gets his minutes and runs the offense, he should be in store for a bounce-back game.

George Hill-Indiana Pacers (4,900): Hill has scored in double digits in six straight games and has totaled over 26 fantasy points in three of his last five games and five of his last nine.  Hill played 40 minutes last night against Charlotte and finished with 12 points, seven boards, and two assists.  Tonight, he’ll face the Wizards in what should be a high-scoring game, and he’ll be on the floor for plenty of it if his recent playing time is a true indicator.  He’s a little boom or bust, but can be a solid mid-range producer in the right matchup.

Shelvin Mack-Utah Jazz (4,100): Mack is ridiculously cheap for a starting PG who has played over 24 minutes in each of his last seven games.  His production has definitely been uneven, but he went off last night for 33.75 fantasy points which is an incredible value at this price.  Mack had 12 points, eight assists, two steals, and five rebounds.  He looked fully settled into the Utah offense for the first time since joining the team and played 29 minutes in the Jazz loss to Memphis. Tonight, he’ll be in a favorable matchup against the Pelicans who have allowed the tenth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG, so Mack could again be a great value if he did indeed turn the corner last night. Don’t get me wrong, though, playing Mack is still a risk since he has been held under ten fantasy points in two of his last four games as well.
