FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 5

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (9,800): James lit up the Wizards last night for 19 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, and three steals totaling 50.1 fantasy points despite only playing 30 minutes.  Tonight, he’ll probably have to play more against the Celtics who come in having won five straight games and sitting in the #3 seed in the East. James has averaged 27 points, seven rebounds, 3.5 assists, two steals, and a block against Boston in his two games against them this season, and he has looked fresh since resting on Sunday and his side-trip to Miami this past week.  James has at least at least 50 fantasy points in four of his last nine games now, and he’s a good pick to produce that again tonight even though his price is under 10K. ∗∗∗∗

Paul George-Indiana Pacers (8,500): PG13 had a big game last night in Charlotte dropping 35 points in 36 minutes and adding seven rebounds, seven assists, and five steals for an impressive 64.9 fantasy points. He has at least 43 fantasy points in six of his last nine games, and has been picking up the Pacers as they battle at the fringe of the Eastern Conference playoff race.  He and Indiana will be in key matchup against another team in that race tonight as they take on Washington. The Wizards have given up the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBa to opposing SF, and George has averaged 30.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 2.5 steals against them in his two games against them this season. He’s coming off a huge game, and he’s in a good place for another one in DC tonight. ∗∗∗∗∗

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (8,400): Kawhi has been outstanding since he returned from his calf injury that sidelined him right after the All Star break.  He has at least 38 fantasy points in each of his five games back and had his best fantasy game since returning on Thursday when he had 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 53.7 fantasy points. He’ll look to produce another big number tonight in a good matchup with the Kings who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF. ∗∗∗

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (6,200): If you can’t afford the upside of the stars higher on this list, go with the blue-collar grit of Jae Crowder who has been productive for the Celtics lately even though it isn’t quite as flashy.  Crowder has at least 31 fantasy points in three of his last four games and six of his last ten.  He had 33.6 fantasy points against the Knicks last night on 20 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Crowder will have to deal with LeBron tonight, but he usually is unaffected by back-to-backs and will grind out points like he almost always does. ∗∗∗
