High Value PF

Markieff Morris-Washington Wizards (5,200): There aren’t a lot of great value plays tonight at PF, but Morris is worth a look as he continues to settle into his role with the Wizards.  He had a huge game against the Sixers on Monday with 42.1 fantasy points but hasn’t continued that production with just 16.2 fantasy points and 20 fantasy points in his two games since then.  The upside is there, but he still hasn’t adjusted enough to be an every-night consideration for DFS owners.

Bobby Portis-Chicago Bulls (4,600): Portis has seen his playing time continue to rise especially now that Taj Gibson is dealing with a hamstring injury (questionable for tonight). Portis has been good but not great in his recent games with at least 21 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games.  He did have one game during that stretch with over 30 fantasy points when he posted ten points and 16 boards against the Blazers, but he has been between 20-30 the rest of those contests. Portis has a lot of upside tonight against the Rockets who allow the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF, but he hasn’t quite been as regular a producer as some people thought he would be if only he could get on the floor. He’s low-risk since he’s getting the time, and there is some upside to like against the Rockets.

Donates Motiejunas-Houston Rockets (3,500): After being traded at the trade deadline only to have his bad back void the trade, Motijunas is back in Houston and was inserted into the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Pelicans. He played 22 minutes and had seven points, three boards, and two assists.  He should be set up for about 20 minutes a night the rest of the way and produce 15-25 fantasy points most nights which is enough to make him the best cheap gamble tonight at PF since he only costs 3,500.
