If Dwyane Wade wants to form another Big Three in the twilight of his prime in the NBA, one option maybe to join up with the New York Knicks to play with small forward Carmelo Anthony and power forward Kristaps Porzingis.

Surely, the Knicks have fallen on hard times in the last few weeks, but New York remains a marquee free agent destination for NBA players. Wade probably has a better chance to win his fourth NBA Championship with the Heat than he does with the Knicks, but he may want to take on the massive challenge of making the Knicks great again.

There is also a fantastic he’ll probably get paid handsomely by Knicks owner James Dolan, as the team doesn’t have to break the bank on Porzingis just yet, as he is still on his rookie contract with the team.

Wade would certainly be an upgrade over shooting guard Arron Afflalo, who could still probably come off the New York bench in a sixth man role and be even more productive with Wade starting at the two. Though the Knicks haven’t landed a massive free agent in some time, Wade could end up in New York if the Knicks are willing to pay him more than Miami is willing to.
