High Value C

Alex Len-Phoenix Suns (5,800): If you can’t afford Drummond, the other five-star play at center tonight is Alex Len who continues to show plenty of upside as he finally gets regular minutes for the injury-beleaguered Suns.  Len had 31 points and 15 boards against the Magic on Friday and has four straight double-doubles with at least 28 fantasy points. He had 51 fantasy points on Friday, and will again be the focus of the Suns attack as they take on a Memphis team that has plenty of injuries up front as well.  Look for Len to have another huge game tonight in Memphis.

Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (5,800): If you want to fade Len since he’ll be widely owned, a nice alternative is Nikola Jokic who had a nice game Friday playing 34 minutes against the Nets and finishing with 15 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, a block, and a steal for 37.4 fantasy points. He has at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last seven games including three games over 37 fantasy points. He isn’t nearly as sure a thing as Len seems to be, but sometimes you have to go against the flow to post a top lineup especially in GPP formats.

Andrew Bogut-Golden State Warriors (4,800): Bogut has at least 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games and six of his last nine.  He takes on the Lakers tonight and should be able to dominate down low.  The only concern I have with Bogut is the same as with the rest of the Warriors–this game should be a blowout which could limit his minutes.

Chris Andersen-Memphis Grizzlies (3,700): Since Memphis will need size to deal with Len and Tyson Chandler expect plenty of minutes for the Bird-man again tonight.  He has played at least 20 minutes for the Grizz in each of his last four games and has over 20 fantasy points in each of his last two contests making him the best cheap flier at center if you stock up elsewhere and go for a punt play in the middle.
