FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 6
High Value SG
Gary Harris-Denver Nuggets (5,000): Since the Nuggets are without Danilo Gallinari, they’re looking for offense but Will Barton hasn’t stepped up like many expected. Instead, it’s been Gary Harris who has shouldered some of the load with at least 15 points in each of his last five games and a strong 21-point performance against the Nets on Friday. He added three steals, three assists, and two rebounds in his 41 minutes as well to finish with 33.9 fantasy points. Harris had not reached 30 fantasy points in any of his previous ten games, but he did have at least 21 in three of his four previous games. He’s getting a ton of minutes and his offense is coming along enough to make him a good play against the Mavs this afternoon.∗∗∗
Wesley Matthews-Dallas Mavericks (4,400): The DFS world was all in on Matthews on Thursday against the Kings only to get burnt since Matthews scored just four points and 17.6 fantasy points. He still played 36 minutes, though, and is in another good matchup against the Nuggets tonight. When he faced Harris and the Nuggets two weeks ago, Matthews had 17 points and 24.6 fantasy points, so I like him to return a nice chunk of value tonight if you can have a short memory and forget how he may have sunk your team on Thursday.∗∗∗∗
Lance Stephenson-Memphis Grizzlies (3,900): If you need an even cheaper option at SG, check out Stephenson who continues to log good minutes since being acquired by Memphis for Jeff Green at the trading deadline. Stephenson has at least 20 fantasy points in five of his seven games with the Grizz and scored 16 points to go with five rebounds on Friday in Memphis’s most recent game. ∗∗
