Tom Brady showed respect to his rival Peyton Manning after news came out about Manning’s retirement 

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has done battle with Peyton Manning on numerous occasions throughout his career. When someone goes to battle against someone that many times, they tend to gain respect for each other. That is certainly the case with Brady and Manning, as Brady shared his admiration and respect for Manning on a Facebook post.

Tom Brady might have four Super Bowl rings compared to Manning’s two, but Manning can say that he won the last game between the two with the Denver Broncos beating the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. Manning can say that he went out on top as a Super Bowl champion just like Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis had the pleasure of doing.

The 6’4″ 230 pound quarterback is expected to officially announce his retirement on Monday after a glorious career that saw him set numerous NFL records and win two Super Bowls. With Manning retiring, it’s truly the end of an era dominated by two of the best quarterbacks in NFL history: Manning and Brady.
