High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (8,300): Towns had 54 fantasy points against the Nets on Saturday scoring 28 points to go with seven assists, six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals. He has at least 45 fantasy points in six of his last ten games including three of his last five.  He should be well rested after two days off as he faces the Hornets tonight who have gotten Al Jefferson back from injury but are still adjusting their front court rotation. Towns is a solid play coming off a big game, but he doesn’t have quite the explosion potential as Boogie does, in my opinion.

DeAndre Jordan-Los Angeles Clippers (7,600): Jordan and the Clippers are in Dallas where DeAndre will be sure to hear it from the Mavericks’ fans he spurned this summer in epic fashion.  Jordan comes in off of three straight double-doubles and two straight games with at least 40 fantasy points. He had 51.75 fantasy points against the Hawks on Saturday with 17 points, 11 rebounds, five blocks, and four steals. Jordan catches the Mavs in a good spot coming off their marathon loss last night, and I think he’s a solid play tonight who is low-risk since he has been so consistent on the glass throughout this season. It’s hard to know how he’ll respond to the boos tonight which is why I’d take Towns slightly ahead of him even though I love DeAndre’s upside.
