High Value SG

Monta Ellis-Indiana Pacers (5,800): Ellis was a popular option on Saturday against the Wizards and he delivered 39 fantasy points on 17 points, six boards, four assists, and four steals. Ellis has at least 28 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games including each of his last five.  He has been playing big minutes for Indiana as they make their playoff push, and he should get over 35 minutes again tonight as long as the game doesn’t get out of control against San Antonio.

Wesley Matthews-Dallas Mavericks (4,900): Matthews is still underpriced as well from a shooting slump in February.  He has scored at least 12 points in six of his last seven games, though, and is playing a ton of minutes for the Mavs in their playoff push.  He had 26.5 fantasy points against the Nuggets last night but did play 41 minutes in the OT defeat. He has at least 22 fantasy points in six of his last seven games, and he should be in a place to produce against the Clippers again tonight.  The only thing that makes him high-risk is the fatigue concerns and the fact that coach Rick Carlisle has rested players on the second night of back-to-backs after an overtime game.  Make sure he’s going to play, but if he does he should be worth his still very affordable salary.

Manu Ginobili-San Antonio Spurs (4,000): Coming off an injury, Manu looked fresh and ready to fire scoring 22 points in just 15 minutes for 24.75 fantasy points on Saturday against the Kings.  He should continue to get playing time as he works his way back to 100% and I think he has the most upside of all the super-cheap SG plays today.

Austin Rivers-Los Angeles Clippers (3,100): If you have to go cheap at PG, it’s worth knowing that Austin Rivers is back and playing good minutes for LA.  He has played 19 minutes in each of his last two games and had 22.5 fantasy points against the Hawks on Saturday with 11 points, three assists, two steals, and two rebounds.  He could get extra run if the Mavericks are worn out from last night and tonight turns into a laugher, so he’s the guard that I like the most as a super-cheap flier tonight.
