High Value SG

Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (5,500): The Timberwolves rotation has been frustrating throughout the season since it has been so inconsistent at times, but lately coach Sam Mitchell has definitely been dedicated to getting LaVine plenty of time on the floor. LaVine has played at least 36 minutes in five straight games and is averaging 19.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 steals in those five games. He had 21 points and four assists on Saturday in Minnesota’s win over Brooklyn finishing with 30 fantasy points giving him at least 28 fantasy points in five straight.  His pricing still hasn’t quite caught up with his playing time and his potential remains through the roof.  Look for another good game from LaVine tonight against the Hornets who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG.

Wesley Matthews-Dallas Mavericks (4,400): Matthews is still underpriced as well from a shooting slump in February.  He has scored at least 12 points in six of his last seven games, though, and is playing a ton of minutes for the Mavs in their playoff push.  He had 24.3 fantasy points against the Nuggets last night but did play 41 minutes in the OT defeat. He has at least 22 fantasy points in six of his last seven games, and he should be in a place to produce against the Clippers again tonight.  The only thing that makes him high-risk is the fatigue concerns and the fact that coach Rick Carlisle has rested players on the second night of back-to-backs after an overtime game.  Make sure he’s going to play, but if he does he should be worth his still very affordable salary.

Lance Stephenson-Memphis Grizzlies (3,900): Stephenson continues to be a good play from under 4K after 23 fantasy points last night gives him at least 20 fantasy points in five of his last six games.  He is getting extra playing time while Tony Allen is out, and he has been playing hard and well since joining Memphis at the trade deadline.  Stephenson should continue to get run off the bench for as long as Allen is out making him the best sub-4K SG option for tonight.
