High Value PF

Taj Gibson-Chicago Bulls (5,000): Gibson played 38 minutes against the Rockets on Saturday but only managed 21.4 fantasy points on four points, seven rebounds, two steals and a block. He is considered probable for tonight’s matchup despite missing practice yesterday, and should be in a place to return value as he faces the Bucks who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing PF this season. Gibson averaged 8.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 0.5 steals in his two earlier matchups with the Bucks this season, and I think he’ll play plenty of time and produce solid numbers tonight.

David Lee-Dallas Mavericks (4,500): Lee came up huge last night for the Mavs and my FanDuel daily picks posting 43.9 fantasy points on 18 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks, and three assists in 25 minutes against Denver.  He has chipped in at least 27 fantasy points in four of his last five games and is fitting right in to the Mavs’ rotation.  He could get even more time than usual tonight against the Clippers since Dirk logged such heavy minutes last night, but he should be productive in whatever time he gets against the Clippers who still are without a “true” PF to replace Blake Griffin. ∗∗
