OT. Ole Miss. Laremy Tunsil. 1. player. 35.
Everyone is already bored with the notion that the Titans will just take Laremy Tunsil and that, essentially, the Browns are already on the clock. That is just how this works in 2016.

Tennessee does not need a quarterback in any way, shape or form given the presence of Marcus Mariota, and even if the Titans would not be crazy to look in the direction of a player like Joey Bosa, it is difficult to find a mock that projects Tennessee to do something other than taking Tunsil. The big caveat, though, is that the Titans could easily move out of this pick in order to stockpile additional assets, and for a team that is depleted from a roster standpoint, that would not be the worst idea in the world.

All it takes is for one team to fall in love with one of the quarterbacks (ahem, Carson Wentz) and see a threat in Cleveland taking “their guy” with the number two overall pick. Until then, the Titans will take one of the best players in the draft in Tunsil, and he looks to be a future Pro Bowl player for a long time while allowing Tennessee to move Taylor Lewan to what could be a better long-term fit at right tackle.

Tennessee would like to protect its best commodity in Marcus Mariota, but this isn’t a reach. Laremy Tunsil is definitely good enough to justify the top overall pick.
