High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,900): KD has been crushing it lately with at least 50 fantasy points in six straight games. He has put up a double-double in each of the those contests with over 25 points and at least five assists.  He had 59.4 fantasy points on Sunday in OKC’s last game and has at least 59 fantasy points in three of his last six contests.  Tonight, he faces the Clippers who he had 30 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and five blocks against last week. He is one of the best expensive plays of the night as he and the Thunder return home and try to get their ship righted after a few struggles since the break.

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,100): LeBron doesn’t come into tonight’s game with the form that Durant has been showing off lately, but he is in a great matchup against the Kings who allow the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF. James had strong words for his team after their loss against the Grizz, and I think he’ll step up and lead by example with a big game tonight.  Remember, James had a triple-double against the Kings when they meat earlier this season with 21 points, ten rebounds, ten assists, two steals, and a block in just 31 minutes.

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (9,600): Antetokounmpo has been exploding lately which is why his price has climbed all the way to over 9.5K. “The Alphabet” has at least 35 fantasy points in nine of his ten games since the All Star break and has posted over 60 fantasy points in three of his last five games.  He is playing more of a play-maker role with the Bucks’ recent injury outbreak, and he has at least ten assists in four of his last five. He is a triple-double threat every night and should be lined up for another big night against Miami tonight.  Joe Johnson and Luol Deng won’t be able to do much to slow down the “Greek Freak” so roll with him tonight if you can fit his quickly-growing salary under your cap.

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,300): Hayward is a solid mid-range option as he and the Jazz try to take down the Warriors in Oakland tonight.  Hayward ha scored at least 21 points in seven of Utah’s ten games since the break averaging 21.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.4 steals. He will be very involved tonight against Golden State who he had one good game and one bad game against Golden State earlier this year which makes him a little risky, but his recent form makes him the best non-elite play unless you go cheap.
