Rashad Jennings buys his mom a house (Video)
In a feel good story, Rashad Jennings spent his money to buy his mother a house
When a parent looks out for their child, it is one of the best feelings in the world. Hopefully, that child would do whatever it took to repay their parent(s) for all that they have done for them. Whether a small or big gesture, showing how important they are to you is one of the greatest gifts you can give. New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings took that to heart — and then some.
The 30-year old RB is known for being a family man, utilizing #ShadFam in his tweets directed to family members. After signing a four-year, $14 million contract in 2014 with the Giants, Jennings knew he would have to find a responsible way to spend the money he received. Jennings decided the best way was to spend it on his mother, who has supported him since he started football at a young age. So Jennings bought her a home, and the reveal of it to her was fantastic.
The pure shock and joy on his mom’s face after viewing the house is phenomenal. Hard work pays off for the Jennings family.
Jennings is coming off a career year for the Giants, rushing for 863 yards while starting in all 16 games. After playing in Jacksonville and Oakland, the Liberty University product has found a home in New York. He has become a solid rock behind Eli Manning and the Giants offense, and is looking to gain momentum even as he’s about to turn 31.
As a son, I would do anything to thank my family for what they have been able to do for me. Jennings was able to do that in a phenomenal way. Moments like these are what dreams are made of. Well done Mr. Jennings.
