100.
Indiana could use some depth at its wing positions to help compliment Monta Ellis and Paul George. The Pacers are also built to win now, but their roster simply isn’t good enough to do so. At 22-years old, Michigan State’s Denzel Valentine provides Indiana with a physically mature player who can step in and contribute right away.

Valentine is the most versatile player in all of college basketball and one of the favorites to collect postseason Player of the Year awards. He is the only player in Basketball Reference’s database, which dates back to 1994-95, to average 19 points, seven assists and seven rebounds per game for a full season. A career 40.9 percent three-point shooter, Valentine has knocked down 45.4 percent of his 205 three-point attempts this season. He can space the floor, operate as the ball handler in the pick-and-roll and also find open teammates on the perimeter. Head coach Tom Izzo regularly puts Valentine into point guard situations, something that has helped him amass the second highest assist rate (44.6) in the country. Valentine also possesses a 6-10 wingspan and is regarded as a sound on-ball defender with some positional versatility.

At 22, Valentine isn’t a high upside play for Indiana, but he is someone who is talented and skilled enough already to help a team looking to pick up some wins right away.
