DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 10
High Salary PG
Kyle Lowry-Toronto Raptors (8,900): With most of the super-elite PG in action last night, Lowry gets his spot in the spotlight as he is the highest salaried option tonight as the Raps host the Hawks. Lowry has had a great season and has averaged 43 fantasy points per game. Lately, he’s been right around that level of production as well with at least 40 fantasy points in seven of his last nine. He went off against the Cavs at the end of February for 70.75 fantasy points and also had a strong game in Toronto’s first game of the year against Atlanta. In that contest, he had 31 points, five assists, and five rebounds, so look for another big game from Lowry at home against the Hawks tonight.∗∗∗
Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,700): Kyrie had another solid game last night pouring in 30 points in 39 minutes against the Kings. He only had four assists and one rebound to get to 39.75 fantasy points, but his scoring is his main fantasy contribution on most nights. Irving has at least 37 fantasy points in three of his last four games, and he’s in a great matchup tonight against the Lakers who allow more fantasy points to opposing PG than any other team in the NBA. When he faced them a month ago, Irving had 35 points, seven assists, and three rebounds in 36 minutes, and I think he’s lined up for another big game tonight hopefully with a few more non-scoring contributions as well. ∗∗∗∗∗
D’Angelo Russell-Los Angeles Lakers (7,200): While Kyrie has been excellent on offense, his defense has been extremely beatable which sets up well for D’Angelo Russell to continue his late-season surge for the Lakers. Russell has at least 39 fantasy points in four of his last five games and has at least 30 in six of his last seven. He has scored 21 points or more in each of those six games, and he’ll again lead the Lakers attack tonight against Kyrie and the Cavs. I expect both PG from the late game to end up with nice, full final stat lines.∗∗∗∗
Emmanuel Mudiay-Denver Nuggets (6,500): Like Russell, Mudiay is putting together a nice finish to his first season in the NBA and has posted good numbers in his four games in March. He has at least 31 fantasy points in those four contests and is averaging 19.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.0 steals. He is still shooting an unimpressive 41%, but he is getting plenty of playing time and becoming the focal point of the Nuggets attack. He is in a good matchup tonight against the Suns who allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG and may just be working Brandon Knight back into the rotation, so look for another strong game from Mudiay. ∗∗∗∗
