High Value SF

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (5,500): Crowder has the best matchup of any of the midrange SF as he takes on the Rockets who allow more fantasy points to opposing SF than any other team in the NBA.  Crowder has scored at least 12 points in each of his last ten games and has over 28 fantasy points in seven of his last nine contests.  He only ended up playing 22 minutes as Boston cruised past Memphis on Wednesday, but he should be back to his 33+ tonight in a very getable matchup against Trevor Ariza and the Rockets.

Matt Barnes-Memphis Grizzlies (5,300): Barnes has an inconsistent offensive game, to be sure, but if he doesn’t score for Memphis–who will? He had 26 fantasy points in 34 minutes against the Celtics after missing Monday’s game in Cleveland.  Barnes will get plenty of time tonight against the Pelicans who have been giving up points in bunches lately. Barnes will definitely have the opportunity to produce, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll rise to the occasion or not.

Lance Stephenson-Memphis Grizzlies (4,400): Antoher Grizzlies option likely to log plenty of action is Lance Stephenson who is the closest thing the Grizzlies have to a proven point guard. I think he’ll get a ton of time as the team tries to cope with the loss of Mario Chalmers on top of all the rest of their injuries.  The Pelicans are a good matchup to attack, but it’s hard to tell which of the Girzzlies players will be the better cheap plays tonight. Stephenson is one of the ones I like the most despite his disappointing 8.0 fantasy points on Wednesday against Boston.
