High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (9,800): Davis takes on the injury-depleted Grizzlies tonight in Memphis coming off a monster 40-point, 13-rebound performance against the Hornets.  He had 67.25 fantasy points in that contest and has at least 52 fantasy points in three straight after a few down games after returning from his toe injury.  Look for “The Brow” to easily get a double-double again tonight with plenty of other good stuff mixed in as he stuffs the stat sheet in what should be another big night for him.

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (6,700): Gordon has been a roller-coaster ride of fantasy points lately alternating three games with over 38 fantasy points with three games of fewer than 21 fantasy points. Tonight, it would be time for an “up” game which is entirely possible with both Nikola Vucevic and DeMarcus Cousins probably out leaving plenty of time for small ball and stretch-four which is when Gordon typically goes off.

Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (6,600): Young takes on his former team in Phily tonight who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing PF on the season and the most of any team in the NBA over their last ten contests.  Young got a rest day in Minnesota on Saturday and returned with a quiet performance of 14 points, four rebounds, and 22 fantasy points against the Raptors as Brook Lopez carried the day. Tonight, though, I think Young will be ready to exploit a good matchup in revenge game. He had 22 points and ten boards in the teams’ last meeting and 18 points and 11 rebounds in their game before that.  Look for Young to get a double-double with flair tonight as he tries to lead his new team past his old one.
