High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,900): Durant had 30 points, 12 boards, seven assists, and a steal for 50.9 fantasy points against the Clippers on Wednesday.  He has at least 50 fantasy points in seven straight with at least 54 fantasy points in five of those contests.  Durant has a double-double in each of those games and continues to score around 30 points a night.  He averaged 26 points, 7.3 rebounds, and five assists in three meetings earlier this season with the T-W0lves and should be set up for a typically productive fantasy night tonight.

Rudy Gay-Sacramento Kings (6,700): Gay will get a chance to step up tonight against the Magic with DeMarcus Cousins suspended.  Usually when Cousins misses a game, Gay put up bit numbers, so get ready to buy in on him tonight.  He comes into tonight’s plus matchup against the Magic with a good head of steam as well having produced 33 fantasy points on Monday and 35.7 fantasy points on Wednesday in tougher matchups and with having to share with Boogie. Look for a huge night from the Kings’ SF who is clearly over his injury having played over 41 minutes in each of his two most recent games.

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,200): Wiggins has scored at least 20 points in each of his last three games and is adding much more non-scoring production now that he has slid to SF.  He has over 30 fantasy points in each of his last three games as a result, and should be set up for success in a shootout in OKC tonight. Wiggins averaged 22.3 points in his three meetings with the Thunder earlier this year, and should be good for at least 20 points with nice peripherals tonight against Durant and the Thunder.

Robert Covington-Philadelphia 76ers (6,200): Another good option in the midrange at SF is Robert Covington who has at least 29 fantasy points in four straight games and 39 fantasy points in two of his last three. Covington is in a good matchup against the Nets tonight and has been playing consistent enough minutes that he’s a solid play all of the sudden after disappearing for the middle part of the season.∗∗

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (6,100): Crowder has the best matchup of any of the midrange SF as he takes on the Rockets who allow more fantasy points to opposing SF than any other team in the NBA.  Crowder has scored at least 12 points in each of his last ten games and has over 25 fantasy points in seven of his last nine contests.  He only ended up playing 22 minutes as Boston cruised past Memphis on Wednesday, but he should be back to his 33+ tonight in a very getable matchup against Trevor Ariza and the Rockets.
