High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (10,300): Davis takes on the injury-depleted Grizzlies tonight in Memphis coming off a monster 40-point, 13-rebound performance against the Hornets.  He had 63.1 fantasy points in that contest and has at least 47 fantasy points in three straight after a few down games after returning from his toe injury.  Look for “The Brow” to easily get a double-double again tonight with plenty of other good stuff mixed in as he stuffs the stat sheet in what should be another big night for him.

Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (6,800): Young takes on his former team in Phily tonight who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing PF on the season and the most of any team in the NBA over their last ten contests.  Young got a rest day in Minnesota on Saturday and returned with a quiet performance of 14 points, four rebounds, and 21.3 fantasy points against the Raptors as Brook Lopez carried the day. Tonight, though, I think Young will be ready to exploit a good matchup in revenge game. He had 22 points and ten boards in the teams’ last meeting and 18 points and 11 rebounds in their game before that.  Look for Young to get a double-double with flair tonight as he tries to lead his new team past his old one.

JaMychal Green-Memphis Grizzlies (6,400): Green’s salary has sky-rocketed after a few good performances while helping the Grizzlies fill their considerable holes left by injury. Green had a massive 48 fantasy points against the Cavs on Monday and followed that up with 35.6 more fantasy points against the Celtics on Wednesday. While some owners may shy away from his now-over 6K price, Green is in a great matchup against the Pelicans who give up tons of points to opposing big men. Zach Randolph could return tonight, but Green should still get enough time to produce another monster game as long as JaMychal can avoid foul trouble.  He isn’t must-own like he was on Wednesday since his price has risen, but he’s still an extremely strong play.

Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,000): While Harris doesn’t have the upside of Young or Green, he has been remarkably consistent and a great fit with the Pistons.  Harris las played at least 35 minutes in five of his last six games with Detroit and has at least 28 fantasy points in seven of his last nine including his last game which came on Wednesday against the Mavs when he produced 34.9 fantasy points on 29 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
