High Value PF

Marvin Williams-Charlotte Hornets (5,800): Wiliams had 27 fantasy points on Wednesday against the Pelicans on 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists. He has at least 26 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games, but his down game last Friday (11.2 fantasy points) was pretty brutal.  Tonight, he should be able to avoid a stinker like that against the Pistons as he matches up with Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris.  Williams has plenty of upside and should be between 25-30 fantasy points tonight making him a solid play at under 6K.

Taj Gibson-Chicago Bulls (5,200): Gibson didn’t have a huge night last night against the Spurs in San Antonio, but that’s always a difficult matchup for any PF. Tonight, he’ll look to bounce back in a much more favorable situation against the Heat without Chris Bosh.  Gibson had 33 fantasy points and a double-double on Monday, so he’s a solid play tonight although there is risk that he’ll end up being “small-balled” out by the return of Nikola Mirotic.

Frank Kaminsky-Charlotte Hornets (3,700): Even with Al Jefferson’s return and Marvin Williams continued success, Kaminsky has remained a part of the Hornets rotation and has at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last five games.  He usually chips in nice all-around numbers in his 18-22 minutes per game and is a solid sleeper if you need to go cheap at one of your PF spots.

Jarrell Martin-Memphis Grizzlies (3,700): The same injuries that allowed JaMychal Green to emerge as a DFS darling have opened up playing time for rookie Jarell Martin as well. Martin had 16 points, six rebounds, an assist, and a block on Wednesday for 25.7 fantasy points, and if Zach Randolph is out tonight he’ll get enough time to be worth a flier as a cheap PF.
