FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 13
High Salary C
DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,000): Boogie is back! Cousins sat out Friday after being suspended for conduct detrimental to the team but is expected to return tonight. He’ll be in a tough matchup against the Jazz stout front line, and he’s a very expensive risk to take tonight. He could come back fired up or disinterested. It’s impossible to say how the volatile Cousins will react to suspension. He did have a good run of production before his suspension including a game of 70.2 fantasy points against the Pelicans. He’ll be against much tougher competition than that tonight, and I think there are better ways to spend your money tonight although Cousins obviously has the potential to go off and carry the night as well. ∗∗
Brook Lopez-Brooklyn Nets (8,700): Lopez can also be a boom-or-bust play tonight as he and the Nets face the Bucks. He had a monster game in Toronto finishing with 56.5 fantasy points and has at least 33 fantasy points in each of his last five games. He is a pricey option at center, but definitely one to take a look at since he can produce big numbers at under 9K. ∗∗∗
Greg Monroe-Milwaukee Bucks (6,800): In his return to the starting lineup, Moose posted an unimpressive ten points and eight boards in just 23 minutes. He looked better last night against the Pelicans with 16 points and 11 rebounds for 36.2 fantasy points. He has at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last five games, but he could be set up for more against the Nets tonight since Brooklyn allows the sixth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers. Monroe is usually around a double-double, and I think he’s a pretty safe bet for 30+ fantasy points tonight against Brooklyn. ∗∗∗
