FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 13
High Value SG
Jordan Clarkson-Los Angeles Lakers (5,800): Clarkson had two nice games after returning from injury last week, but then he laid an egg on Thursday scoring just five points in 34 minutes for 11.7 fantasy points. In his three previous games (not counting the game he was injured in) he had 31+ fantasy points and seems to flow well with D’Angelo Russell. Even in his stinker, he took a dozen shots and remains very involved in the LA attack. I expect a strong bounce-back game from Clarkson tonight agains the Knicks who may or may not have Arron Afflalo who is questionable with his abdomen injury. The one other thing to be aware of with Clarkson is the Lou Williams is expected to return today which could cut into his playing time.∗∗
Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,500): Hood has been scuffling a little lately and hasn’t reached 30 fantasy points in any of his last eight games. He has a chance to turn that around tonight as he faced the Kings who allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing SG. Hood has seen his scoring tick up a little bit lately returning from a back injury to post 23.7 fantasy points against the Wizards on Friday. He will probably be good for 20-30 fantasy points in his matchup tonight making him a solid play if you don’t trust Clarkson’s playing time. ∗∗∗
Markel Brown-Brooklyn Nets (3,900): Brown started on Friday against the 76ers but only managed five points, three rebounds, and an assist for 8.1 fantasy points. He did have two games last weekend that were huge with 40.1 fantasy points against the T-Wolves and 27.7 fantasy points against the Raptors, but has come back to earth since then. Wayne Ellington missed practice yesterday with illness which could open up more playing time for Brown making him a risky boom-or-bust option. With Wayne-∗ If Ellington is out-∗∗
