High Salary SF

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (9,600): Antetokounmpo didn’t go off last night against the Pelicans finishing with a balanced 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two blocks for just 29 fantasy points. He is a very pricey investment for tonight, but the Nets have no one who can guard him, and he will be able to get whatever he wants.  If “The Alphabet” comes out looking for a triple-double, I think he’ll deliver. He has at least 60 fantasy points in four of his last ten games and over 40 in six of those contests.  He is a good option for fantasy points tonight, but he will have to come up big to be worth this salary.

Carmelo Athony-New York Knicks (8,900): Anthony has been a little more consistent than Antetokounmpo and Paul George, which is why he’s my second expensive SF option for tonight.  Melo has at least 32 fantasy points in eight straight games and has four double-doubles in his last ten games.  He played a huge 43 minutes on Friday against the Clippers scoring 20 points for the seventh straight game and adding in six boards and four assists.  Since coach Kurt Rambis has taken over, Melo is playing heavy minutes and producing 40+ fantasy points on a regular basis.  Tonight, against the Lakers who allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF, I expect Anthony to post a big game.
