High Value PF

Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (4,900): After a brief stint as “King of the DFS World” Myles Turner has returned to his normal life as a rookie in the NBA. Turner has been coming off the bench the last few games, but he’s showing signs of turning back into the productive option he was earlier this season.  Last night he quickly amassed 15 points and seven rebounds for 24.4 fantasy points in just 19 minutes. He had nine points and ten boards against the Spurs in his game before that for 25.5 fantasy points. He’s risky since his role is less certain coming off the bench, but he’s the best (and only) mid-range play tonight.

Brandon Bass-Los Angeles Lakers (4,000): There really aren’t any other mid-range options to invest in tonight, so if you can’t afford the high-salary picks drop all the way down to the bargain bin.  One name to know at his cheap price is Bass who is playing solid minutes for the Lakers.  He has at least 11 points in seven of his last ten games and has been able to reach 20 fantasy points in three of his last four contests.  He finished Thursday’s contest with 12 points, eight boards, and two assists and is good for around those numbers on most nights.

Willie Cauley-Stein-Sacramento Kings (3,600): Cauley-Stein got the start on Friday against Orlando and played 21 minutes totaling 12 points, six rebounds, a block, and an assist.  His 20.7 fantasy points was a solid stat line for someone this cheap, but it’s hard to say how much he’ll play tonight with Boogie back. I think the Kings could want to see what they have in Cauley-Stein the rest of the way, so don’t be surprised if George Karl tries to fine him 20 minutes a game going forward which would likely make him a bargain at this price.
