DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 14
High Salary SF
Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,500): Durant continues to be great for the Thunder despite their run of underwhelming results. KD has at least 27 points in his last nine games and had seven straight double-doubles before his rebounding dropped in his last two games. Durant had 50 fantasy points in each of those seven games, and against the Blazers tonight, I think he’ll get back to that 55+ fantasy points level making him one of the best star plays available on this Monday. ∗∗∗∗
Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (6,900): Hayward had 27 points against the Kings last night and totaled a very solid 40 fantasy points. His price has dropped under 7K for the first time in a while on DraftKings which makes him a solid value as he takes on the Cavs tonight. Hayward will play a ton of minutes tonight against LeBron and look to be very involved on both ends of the floor. He’s risky since it’s a tough matchup, but Hayward usually rises to the challenge at home. Another risk factor is that he did play 39 minutes just last night, so fatigue could be an issue. ∗∗
Chandler Parsons-Dallas Mavericks (6,300): Parsons production has been streaky throughout the season, but he’s definitely not lacking for playing time as the Mavs push for the playoffs. He played 41 minutes on Saturday but managed just 28.25 fantasy points on 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists. He had a much better scoring game last Wednesday when he had 25 points and 40.5 fantasy points. He has at least 25 points in four of his last eight games and at least 40 fantasy points in each of those contests. He could be in line for a similar night tonight since the Hornets play a little small at SF with Nicolas Batum. Parsons should be able to get his shot off, but he’ll need to have it dropping to reach his high ceiling. ∗∗
Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,300): Harris isn’t as flashy as Durant or Batum or have quite as much upside as Parsons, but he is a safer play than Chandler tonight against the Wizards. Harris continues to be incredibly consistent for the Pistons. He has at least 28 fantasy points in each of his last six games. He had 21 points and eight rebounds on Saturday against the Sixers, and he’s a low-risk, low-upside play tonight. ∗∗∗
