High Value PF

Marvin Williams-Charlotte Hornets (5,600): Williams has been a nice bargain lately for the Hornets, and his minutes have been solid despite the return of Al Jefferson.  Williams has at least 27 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games including each of his last four. He is in a favorable matchup against against the Mavs, but he could be a little under-sized to tangle with Dirk.  His athleticism should prove to be a mismatch on the offensive end, though, so I expect another solid game.

Tristan Thompson-Cleveland Cavaliers (5,200): Thompson has three straight double-doubles and will give the Cavs the interior support they need tonight against the Jazz.  He has at least 22 fantasy points in six of his last seven games including over 32 fantasy points in each of his last three. He is sharing time in the middle with Timofey Mozgov, but he’s by far the more productive of the two and can be a solid play if you’re spending around 5K tonight.

Bobby Portis-Chicago Bulls (4,000): Just when you though it was safe to move on from Portis… Pau Gasol is out for tonight’s game against the Raptors which could open up a ton of playing time for Portis with all the other injuries the Bulls are battling through. Portis had an injury of his own but was able to play 18 minutes Friday. If he’s on the floor there will be plenty of opportunities for him tonight making him a boom-or-bust start at PF tonight.

Darrell Arthur-Denver Nuggets (3,500): Arthur has scored at least ten points in three straight games and has over 26 fantasy points in each of his last two contests.  He had 17 points, six rebounds, and two assists against the Wizards on Saturday, and he’s getting 24+ minutes on most nights for the Nuggets especially when they play teams that emphasize stretch-four’s like the Heat have been while Chris Bosh is out.  Arthur can be a bit inconsistent, but he’s a great deal at this price given the way Coach Mike Malone gets him time on the floor.
