High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,500): Durant continues to be great for the Thunder despite their run of underwhelming results.  KD has at least 27 points in his last nine games and had seven straight double-doubles before his rebounding dropped in his last two games.  Durant had 50 fantasy points in each of those seven games, and against the Blazers tonight, I think he’ll get back to that 50+ fantasy points level making him one of the best star plays available on this Monday. ∗∗

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (7,400): Batum offers the production across the stat sheet that I try to target at my SF spot. He put up a perfect example in his last game scoring just 14 points but ending up with 38.6 fantasy points since he had eight rebounds, eight assists, a block, and a steal. Batum has at least 28 fantasy points in seven straight contests making him low-risk, but he also has over 38 fantasy points in each of his last two games showing off his high ceiling.  Tonight, against the Mavericks, I expect another solid game even though he’ll have to deal with Chandler Parsons who usually does a good job on the defensive end.

Chandler Parsons-Dallas Mavericks (6,800): Parsons production has been streaky throughout the season, but he’s definitely not lacking for playing time as the Mavs push for the playoffs.  He played 41 minutes on Saturday but managed just 26.5 fantasy points on 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  He had a much better scoring game last Wednesday when he had 25 points and 38.8 fantasy points. He has at least 25 points in four of his last eight games and at least 38 fantasy points in each of those contests.  He could be in line for a similar night tonight since the Hornets play a little small at SF with Nicolas Batum. Parsons should be able to get his shot off, but he’ll need to have it dropping to reach his high ceiling.

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,300): With Zach LaVine hurting, Wiggins could be asked to take an even bigger portion of the T-Wolves offense as they head to the desert tonight. Wiggins has scored at least 20 points in four straight games and has over 30 fantasy points in each of those contests.  He had a season-high five steals against OKC on Saturday and is putting up better non-scoring stats now that he’s playing more SF than SG. Wiggins should be set up for a good game tonight since the Suns allows the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF.
