High Salary PF

Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (8,300): Green has picked up his scoring in his last three contests with 17, 17, and 19 points which has picked his fantasy value back up to a level where his 8K+ salary makes sense.  Green has at least 35 fantasy points in each of his last three games highlighted by his big double-double against Portland on Friday when he had 45.1 fantasy points. Tonight against the Pelicans, Green should be able to put together another nicely-balance line, and I think he has the potential to go off given his recent up-tick in scoring.

Derrick Favors-Utah Jazz (7,100): Favors has had a few monster games in his last five tearing apart both the Pelicans and the Kings down low for over 56 fantasy points. His other three games in his last five were all under 40 fantasy points with 34.2, 24.89, and 39.3 fantasy points in his three matchups with the Hawks, Warriors, and Wizards.  The Jazz play an important game against the Cavs, and he’ll have a good matchup against Kevin Love.  He has sky-high potential, but his delivery is somewhat inconsistent.

Alex Len-Phoenix Suns (7,000): Len is in the PF category for the first time tonight. He has been huge for the Suns lately and has become the focus of their offense since joining the lineup next to Tyson Chandler.  He has at least 40 fantasy points in three of his last five games after going for 26 points and 13 boards against the Warriors on Saturday. Tonight, he’ll be in a good matchup against the two young big-men from Minnesota as Towns and Dieng come to Phoenix.  Because he’s playing such a pivotal role in the Suns’ offense, look for him to keep putting up solid numbers with lots of potential for 20-10 games.

JaMychal Green-Memphis Grizzlies (6,200): Green had a little bit of a burnout after his red-hot week last week playing just 24 minutes on Saturday against the Hawks and posting 10.6 fantasy points on four points and eight rebounds.  He had three double-doubles in his three previous games, though, and played over 37 minutes in each of those contests with 35+ fantasy points. Since Saturday’s game was the second of back-to-back contests, I expect him to ounce back in a bit away tonight especially since he’s playing the Rockets who have allowed the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF.

Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,100): Harris isn’t as flashy as Green or have quite as much upside. However, he continues to be incredibly consistent for the Pistons.  He has at least 28 fantasy points in each of his last six games.  He had 21 points and eight rebounds on Saturday against the Sixers, and he’s a low-risk, low-upside play tonight as the Pistons face the Wizards.
