High Value C

Bismack Biyombo-Toronto Raptors (3,700): Jonas Valanciunas seems to have avoided major injury, but he looks likely to miss tonight’s game against the Bucks.  That should result in a huge workload for Biyombo who had six points, six rebounds, and six blocks against the Bulls last nigh for 25.5 fantasy points. Biyombo showed he can produce enough boards and defensive stats to be a solid cheap play while Big V is sidelined. No Valanciunas-∗∗∗ With Valanciunas-

Willie Cauley-Stein-Sacramento Kings (3,600): As the Kings come down the stretch, one of th things they should be focused on is figuring out what they have in their #1 draft pick from last year Willie Cauley-Stein.  Cauley-Stein played 21 minutes while Boogie was suspended on Friday finishing with 22 fantasy points on 12 points and six rebounds.  He had an even more promising outing against the Jazz in Boogie’s return playing 29 minutes and finishing with 22.75 fantasy points on ten points, seven boards, a block, and a steal.  He’s a great cheap play tonight against the Lakers who have struggled on the interior for much of the season. It’s hard to know if he’ll keep getting over 20 minutes of time, but if he does I love his upside in the late game.

Miles Plumlee-Milwaukee Bucks (3,600): The alternative cheap option at center tonight is Miles Plumlee who continues to get solid playing time for the Bucks.  Plumlee has played at least 21 minutes in each of his last three games and has over 22 fantasy points in two of those three games and four of his last nine games.  Plumlee is a better play than Biyombo if Valanciunas is in the game, but he doesn’t have the upside that Bismack does if V is out since he still shares time with the struggling Greg Monroe.
