High Value PG

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (5,200): Collison continues to start alongside Rondo and produce good numbers for Sacramento with at least 25 fantasy points in four of his last five games including a pair of games with over 30 fantasy points. He should be able to put together a good game against the weak Lakers backcourt, so give Collison a look if you’re spending in the 5K range tonight.

Jerryd Bayless-Milwaukee Bucks (4,700): Bayless is in a tough matchup against the Raptors, but he’s still one of the best available plays under 5K since he’s racking up so many minutes due to injuries in the Milwaukee backcourt.  Bayless has played at least 38 minutes in four straight games and has two games over 30 fantasy points in his last four.  He’s in a bad matchup against Kyle Lowry and the Raptors, but he gets the time and will have the opportunity to produce tonight which is why he’s an option worth considering.

Donald Sloan-Brooklyn Nets (4,600): Playing a Nets point guard is always a risky proposition, but Sloan looked excellent against the Sixers on Friday finishing with 41.25 fantasy points on 14 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.  Sloan hasn’t been spectacular (or reached 20 fantasy points) in any of his other last five games, but he does get the Sixers in the rematch tonight making him a boom-or-bust cheap play.

C.J. Watson-Orlando Magic (3,500): If you go with an ultra-cheap play at PG, Watson is an option since Elfrid Payton looks like he’ll miss another game with his elbow injury.  He had a disappointing game in the Magic’s blowout loss in Portland, but he had 22.25 fantasy points and 24.75 fantasy points with identical lines of ten points, five assists, and three rebounds in his two games against the Kings and Lakers before that down game.  If he’s starting again tonight, he’ll be a decent punt play if you need the monty to spend elsewhere.
