High Salary PF

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (10,500): Boogie came back from his suspension with a big game on Sunday against Utah scoring 31 points to go with ten boards, five assists, two blocks, and two steals for 61.5 fantasy points. He has at least 55 fantasy points in five of his last eight games including a monster game in New Orleans against the Pelicans when he had 75 fantasy points. The Lakers have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers, so look for Cousins to put up another big game tonight although since he’s one of the few stars on the board he’ll be widely owned in most formats.

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (7,400): Aldridge’s price has finally caught up with his production. He has at least 38 fantasy points in seven straight games and continues to be one of the lowest risk plays since the All Star break.  He fell just one rebound short of another double-double on Saturday night against the Thunder, but he still has at lest 23 points and seven rebounds in seven straight.  Look for him to continue his elite production tonight against the Clippers who sometimes struggle with interior defense without Blake Griffin. ∗∗

Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (7,000): Playing against the banged up 76ers should be a great matchup for Young especially since he has taken it to his former team in his previous meetings. Young has averaged 20.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.7 steals in his three games against the Sixers this season and had 38.75 fantasy points against then last Friday. Young followed that up with a solid 39 fantasy points on Sunday on 17 points and ten boards.  With all the Sixers injuries and his history against them, Young is a fantastic play tonight.

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (6,800): Gordon should be set up for a big game as the Magic come back home tonight.  He has at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last four although he has had a few duds when facing teams that go big up front.  Fortunately for Gordon’s prospects tonight, the Nuggets usually go small at PF which should set him up for a solid game tonight with a double-double a good possibility.

Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (6,200): Faried had a nice double-double last night in Miami with 24 points and 11 boards powering him to 42.75 fantasy points. He has had three games with at least 40 fantasy points in his last five games but his other two games have been uninspiring with just 14.75 fantasy points and 15.25 fantasy points. Faried is boom-or-bust, but he only played 26 minutes, so he should be able to play solid minutes again tonight even though its the second game of a back-to-back.  I love his upside, but he is highly volatile.
