High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (8,100): Towns will be in a huge mismatch tonight against the Grizzlies in Memphis since Memphis has no one left who can defend opposing centers.  Towns has three double-doubles in his last four games and has at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last seven contests.  If you’re investing this much in Towns, you’ll definitely be hoping for a bigger game than 30 fantasy points, but he did have over 53 fantasy points in a pair of games last week, and I think he could be close to those numbers tonight against the Grizz if he can avoid foul trouble and the games stays competitive.

Dwight Howard-Houston Rockets (7,800): Dwight Howard played just 24 minutes against Memphis on Monday and still posted 39.75 fantasy points on 13 boards, five blocks, three assists, and seven points.  Howard has at least 30 fantasy points in nine of his last ten games with over 39 fantasy points in five of those contests.  Tonight, he’ll do battle with DeAndre Jordan down low, and as long as we avoid a free throw contest between the two big men, we should get a good matchup. Howard has been playing well enough to spend this much on him tonight.
