High Value C

Robin Lopez-New York Knicks (5,900): RoLo had a solid 31.5 fantasy points against the Lakers on Sunday giving him at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last six games.  His one stinker during that time was an ugly 6.75 fantasy points in Denver, but outside of that game he has been pretty solid.  Lopez is a tricky play tonight because the Warriors could force him off the floor by going small, but Golden State has been giving up big games to opposing centers lately making Lopez a boom-or-bust play tonight.

Enes Kanter-Oklahoma City Thunder (4,800): Kanter continues to be part of the Thunder’s second unit but has been putting up very good numbers lately even in limited time off the bench.  On Monday, he only played 22 minutes but dropped 26 points on the Blazers to go with seven boards on his way to 38.75 fantasy points. He has at least 33 fantasy points in four of his last five contests and should be able to produce again tonight against the Celtics who are constantly tinkering with their front court. Kanter has been the best value option in the middle lately, and I think he’ll continue to produce tonight.

Steven Adams-Oklahoma City Thunder (3,900): While I like Kanter better, Adams is one of the few other center option who is worth a look if you decide to go cheap.  Adams has at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last five games and had 22.73 fantasy points against the Blazers.  He is losing a little time to Kanter, but he’s still the starter and getting enough time with the top unit to be a solid play at his sub-4K salary. He doesn’t have the offensive upside that Kanter brings, but he’s cheaper and the lowest-risk sub-5K start in the middle tonight.

Willie Cauley-Stein-Sacramento Kings (3,600): A rookie big-man getting more playing time lately is Kings’ first-round pick Willie Cauley-Stein who has played at least 20 minutes in three straight gams and has at least 20 fantasy points in each of those three games. Last night, he had 20.75 fantasy points on eight points and seven rebounds against the Lakers. Against the Pelicans, Cauley-Stein should be set up for another good game if he gets the minutes at home at Sleep Train Arena tonight.
