High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (10,200): Harden only played 25 minutes in Monday’s blowout win against the Grizzlies posting 42.25 fantasy points on 15 points, eight assists, three blocks, and seven rebounds.  He’ll probably have to play much more than that tonight against the Clippers who he has averaged 28 points, seven assists, and four rebounds against in his three meetings this season.  Look for Harden to be rested and ready to go off for a monster game tonight in what should be a high-scoring game in Houston. He’s my favorite superstar play of the night.

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (7,500): Batum continues to offer nice statsheet-stuffing production in his staring role with Charlotte. He played 40 minutes against Dallas on Monday and totaled 41.75 fantasy points on 20 points seven assists, three rebounds, two blocks, and two assists. Batum has at least 40 fantasy points in each of his last three games and in four of his  six games on the current Charlotte homestand. Tonight, he’ll be in a good matchup against the Magic, and I think he will again provide a nice multi-faceted performance putting him near or above full value.

Victor Oladipo-Orlando Magic (7,400): Oladipo stepped up for the Magic in the wake of all their backcourt issues and had 42.5 fantasy points last night scoring 23 points to go with six assists, four rebounds, and two blocks.  He has at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and will look to take the Magic show on the road as they head to Charlotte.  The Hornets have been involved in high-scoring games lately so as long as the Magic don’t fall behind big early, look for another big game for Oladipo.

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,200): Wiggins has diversified his production since moving to SF for the Wolves, but he has continued to score solid points as well.  Wiggins has at least 20 points in each of his last five games and has added enough non-scoring stats to get to 31 fantasy points in each of those contests. In those five games, Wiggins is averaging 23.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.0 steals.  Tonight, he’s a great option as he faces the banged-up Grizzlies in Memphis.
