High Value SF

Matt Barnes-Memphis Grizzlies (5,800): Barnes continues to be inconsistent on offense for the Grizzlies although he did have a monster 26 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists on his way to 65.25 fantasy points last Friday against the Pelicans. He followed that up with a down game in Atlanta with just 16.5 fantasy points on six points, six rebounds, no assists, and four turnovers. On Monday, he only played 25 minutes in the Grizz’s blowout loss to Houston, but I think since tonight’s game is back in Memphis he should be able to get his game back on track.  He is volatile, as always, but I think he’ll have an “up” game against the Wolves tonight.  His ceiling is incredibly high and Memphis badly needs him to return to his form from their last home game which is when he went off against the Pelicans.

Lance Stephenson-Memphis Grizzlies (5,500): Lance owners had to wait for a gametime decision on Monday when Lance was forced to miss the game with an injured wrist.  He’s questionable again tonight, so unless we hear for sure he’s in, I would stay away.  However, if he is playing he’s definitely a good play since he had 53.75 fantasy points and 26.5 fantasy points in his two games before missing Monday.  With the Grizzlies in search of offense, Stephenson is one of their top options if he’s healthy.  If he’s confirmed in-∗ If status unknown-too risky.

Jeff Green-Los Angeles Clippers (4,500): Green had 15 points and a pair of rebounds last night against the Spurs in a horrible matchup against “The Klaw.” Tonight, he should find a much easier go of things as he takes on the Rockets who have allowed the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF. He’s fitting in well in LA with at least 15 points in three of his last four games and three games with at least 30 fantasy points in his last six.  He’s a boom-or-bust play tonight, but I think tonight will be a pretty high-scoring contest making him a play I like tonight in Houston.∗∗∗

Derrick Williams-New York Knicks (4,100): Williams has posted at least 22 fantasy points in each of the four games on the Knicks’ current road trip and is getting extra playing time due to Kristaps Porzingis’s limited minutes.  Williams played 32 minutes against the Lakers on Sunday and had eight points and nine rebounds for 26.75 fantasy points. He could get some garbage time tonight in Golden State, and his recent form makes him worth a flier at just over 4K even though he is risky since he sometimes disappears based on matchups.

Michael Beasley-Houston Rockets (3,700): Beasley has been playing well for Houston since joining them after his MVP season in China.  He played 27 minutes against the Grizzlies finishing with 11 points and nine rebounds for 32.75 fantasy points. He has scored in double-digits in three straight and is getting enough run to be the best cheap flier on the SF board as the Rockets face the Clippers tonight.
