High Value SG

Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (5,700): LaVine rediscovered his scoring touch on Monday with 28 points in his 32 minutes in Phoenix.  He has at least 26 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games and is playing a ton of minutes for the T-Wolves as they come down the stretch.  Tonight, he’ll be in a good matchup against the injury-ravaged Grizzlies, so look at him as one of the best midrange plays even though his non-scoring numbers can sometimes come and go.

Lance Stephenson-Memphis Grizzlies (5,600): Lance owners had to decide whether to stay on him or bail before roster lock on Monday since he was questionable with a wrist injury.  I advised on Twitter to get out, and it was the right call since he didn’t end up playing.  He’s questionable again tonight, so unless we hear for sure he’s in, I would stay away.  However, if he is playing he’s definitely a good play since he had 52.4 fantasy points and 35.6 fantasy points in his two games before missing Monday.  With the Grizzlies in search of offense, Stephenson is one of their top options if he’s healthy.  If he’s confirmed in-∗ If status unknown-too risky.

J.J. Redick-Los Angeles Clippers (4,800): Redick had a rough game last night against the Spurs with just 14 points, a rebounds, and an assist in San Antonio.  I think he’ll bounce back tonight, though in a much better matchup against the Rockets.  In his three games against Houston this season, he has averaged 26.0 points. He doesn’t usually add much except scoring, but he should still have a good chance to reach value with the Rockets defense allowing the eighth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG.

E’Twaun Moore-Chicago Bulls (4,600): Moore had 17 points, four rebounds, four assists, and a block against the Raptors on Monday for a solid 29.8 fantasy points. He has gotten plenty of run as the Bulls’ backup guard since there have been so many injuries in Chicago.  Tonight, he should be a good play once again if Rose is forced to sit.  Moore has 27+ fantasy points in three of his last four games, and he should be able to take advantage of a Wizards team that has struggled defensively. If starting-∗ If coming off the bench-

Courtney Lee-Charlotte Hornets (3,900): Lee has double-digit points in each of his last four games and is gelling well with his new team in Charlotte.  His non-scoring numbers are up and down, but he has reached at least 18 fantasy points in three of his last four contests. He’s a good cheap play at under 4K if you have to save at SG tonight.∗∗
