High Salary C

Brook Lopez-Brooklyn Nets (8,100): Lopez will take an injury-ravaged Bulls front line tonight in Brooklyn who will likely be without Taj Gibson and Pau Gasol who will be joining Cameron Bairstow and Joakim Noah on the sidelines.  Lopez should be able to dominate down low and hopefully put up his second straight double-double.  He had 18 points and ten boards against the Sixers on Tuesday giving him over 39 fantasy points in three of his last four.  He had a monster game in Toronto last Tuesday when he put up 59.25 fantasy points, and he could be near that again tonight given the lack of options the Bulls have to defend him.

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,800): Gortat’s health is a major concern after being scratched, the un-scratched last night against the Bulls. He ended up starting the second half after being ruled out then doubtful, and he finished with 20.5 fantasy points on nine points and six boards in just 18 minutes.  If he gets his full workload tonight, he’ll be a great play against the 76ers who are horrible against opposing center and who Gortat manhandled for 18 points, 20 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks on his way to 57.5 fantasy points in their last meeting at the end of February.  Gortat would be a five-star play if it wasn’t for the health concerns, but he’s still a solid option tonight.

Alex Len-Phoenix Suns (6,500): Len and the Suns will roll out their two-center lineup against the two bigs of the Jazz in Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert. Len has the most upside of the four players since the Suns seem committed to running their offense through the former-Terp, but he has had a few down games recently as well.  Len had 26 points and 13 rebounds for 26.25 fantasy points in a good game against the Warriors on Saturday, but aside from that he has been held under 31 fantasy points in three of his last four. Len has a ton of upside tonight, but his recent inconsistency keeps him from being a lock. ∗∗

Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (6,500): Jokic continues to be productive when he’s on the floor with at least 30 fantasy points in six of his last seven games including a game with 48.5 fantasy points a week ago against the Suns.   Jokic struggles with foul trouble and sometimes gets overlooked in coach Mike Malone’s rotation, but when he gets playing time he has been producing good numbers.
