High Value SG

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,600): With Gordon Hayward hurting and forced to miss the Jazz’s showdown with Cleveland on Monday, Hood stepped up and delivered a big game with 28 points and 33 fantasy points in Utah’s surprising win. Hood has at least 25 fantasy points in three of his last four games, but he sometimes takes a back seat when Hayward is the primary option on offense.  If Hayward is out again tonight, though, Hood will be a great play since he is facing the Suns who allow the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG. With Hayward-∗∗ With no Hayward-∗∗

Gary Harris-Denver Nuggets (5,200): Harris has scored at least 15 points in nine of his last ten games and has thrown in enough rebounds, assists, and steals to get to 26 fantasy points or more in six of his last seven games.  He hasn’t had quite the high’s that Emmanuel Mudiay has posted, but he has become a reliable part of the Nuggets’ lineup while logging big minutes on a nightly basis.

Bojan Bogdanovic-Brooklyn Nets (4,900): Bogdan was in my picks on Tuesday, but I didn’t find room for him in my lineup as I missed a huge opportunity since he lit up the Sixers for 44 points and 57.5 fantasy points. He has gotten consistent playing time since the Nets parted ways with Joe Johnson, but he hadn’t had a scoring outburst like that.  He has produced at least 19 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games, though, so he isn’t just a flash in the pan. He should be a solid play tonight against the Bulls, although his Tuesday scoring is definitely an outlier.

Nik Stauskas-Philadelphia 76ers (3,600): Everyone had conflicting and confusing information as to whether Stauskas was starting or not on Tuesday, and ultimately he did end up coming off the bench.  The good news for his owners, though, was that he still logged 30 minutes and had 34.25 fantasy points on 18 points, seven rebounds, two steals, an assist, and a block.  Stauskas has at least 25 fantasy points in two straight games and has scored double-digit points in five of his last eight contests.  He’s a flier, but against the Wizards questionable wing defense he has some nice upside to take a look at at under 4K.

Joe Ingles-Utah Jazz (3,400): Ingles is worth a look if the Aussie draws another start against the Suns tonight.  He started at SF on Monday in place of Gordon Hayward and played 37 minutes finishing with 18.75 fantasy points on six points, five rebounds, and four assists.  The Suns would be a great matchup to get a cheap play like Ingles against since they have allowed the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF. He’s a cheap flier to consider if Hayward is out. No Hayward-∗ With Hayward-stay away
