High Value SF

Matt Barnes-Memphis Grizzlies (5,800): Barnes posted a strong double-double last night for 39.5 fantasy points on 14 points and ten boards against the Timberwolves.  While he will continue to get all the minutes he can handle and be a big part of the Grizz attack, it is worth noticing that his better offensive games have come at home while he has struggled a big on the road and in the second night of back-to-backs.  While he’s still worth a look, he’s higher risk even than he normally is as he finishes tonight’s back-to-back set in Milwaukee.

Lance Stephenson-Memphis Grizzlies (5,500): Stephenson was a gametime decision last night against Minnesota, but he ended up playing and logging 36 minutes in a narrow Memphis defeat.  He had 24 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists on his way to 49.25 fantasy points.  He has a least 35 fantasy points in each of the last three games he has played, but he did miss Monday’s game with a wrist injury.  Playing on back-to-back nights makes him even a more volatile option than usual, but he’s so involved when he’s on the court that you have to consider him if he’s cleared to play again tonight in Milwaukee.

Kent Bazemore-Atlanta Hawks (4,700): Bazemore has been up-and-down lately, but he had a very nice game last night in Detroit posting a double-double of 15 points and ten rebounds on his way to 31.5 fantasy points. He has at least 31 fantasy points in three of his last six games, but his other three have all resulted in fewer than 18 fantasy points. He’s a risky option tonight as a result of his inconsistency, but I love his matchup against the Nuggets, and I think he’ll have a strong game tonight.  Remember, since its a back-to-back his price doesn’t reflect his performance from last night so you’re getting a bit of a discount today with Bazemore.

Justise Winslow-Miami Heat (4,000): Winslow has been one o my favorite cheap sleepers all season, and he’s still getting playing time for Miami even after the Joe Johnson addition since Miami is going small in the absence of Chris Bosh.  Winslow has three straight games with at least 27 fantasy points after scoring a career-high 20 points against Denver on Monday.  He’ll be on the floor a lot again tonight against the Hornets, and I think he will produce a solid line across the board making him one of my favorite cheaper SF options.
