High Value PF

JaMychal Green-Memphis Grizzlies (5,900): One of the Grizzlies best PF options in the wake of all their injuries has been JaMychal Green who has four double-doubles in his last six games although the other two games during that stretch have been pretty bad burns (12.5 fantasy points and 15.5 fantasy points). Green bounced back from those two games with 18 points and ten boards last night against Minnesota, and he should be set up for success again tonight against the Bucks who allow the sixth-most fantasy points int he NBA to opposing PF. Green is high-risk, but he could easily approach another double-double since he’ll keep getting all the minutes.

Marvin Williams-Charlotte Hornets (5,700): Williams had a huge game last night going off for 26 points, nine rebounds, two assists, a block, a steal, and 46.25 fantasy points. He has at least 22 points in three of his last four games now, and has over 28 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games.  Against the small-balling Heat who don’t have Chris Bosh, Williams should be able to post another good night in South Beach making him a very attractive sub-6K play tonight.

Carl Landry-Philadelphia 76ers (4,200): Landry has been playing big minutes while Jerami Grant and Robert Covington recover from their collision on Friday. Landry has at least 27 fantasy points in four of his last five games while filling in getting close to a double-double in about 25 minutes in each of those contests.  Tonight, he’ll take on the Wizards in what should be a high-scoring game, so look for Landry to post solid stats once again.

Bobby Portis-Chicago Bulls (3,900): The Bulls are running out of players in the frontcourt as Taj Gibson is now doubtful for tonight after a hamstring injury last night. Pau Gasol is also doubtful to play, which will leave a ton of minutes for  Portis and Nikola Mirotic. Mirotic is a little over-priced, but Portis is very cheap for a player who should end up with 30+ minutes in a favorable matchup against the Nets.

Jarell Martin-Memphis Grizzlies (3,600): Martin has had production similar to Landry’s but he’s a much less “safe” option. He has played over 20 minutes in each of the last five games for Memphis and has scored in double-digits in four of those contests including last night against the T-Wolves when he had 12 points and eight rebounds on his way to 25.5 fantasy points. He played his heaviest minutes in the Grizz’s blowout loss to Houston, so there will definitely be time for the rookie tonight against the Bucks no matter what happens with the score. The only thing that will kill Martin’s value is a surprise return of Zach Randolph, but I don’t see that happening tonight.
