High Value PG

Shelvin Mack-Utah Jazz (5,500): Mack’s price is finally catching up to his recent production, but I still like him a lot tonight even though he’s not the crazy value he once was.  Mack has stepped into a huge role with the Jazz since they acquired him at the trading deadline and he has at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last three games while scoring in double digits and producing solid non-scoring numbers as well.  Make had a very nice double-double of 17 points and ten assists in the Jazz win over the Cavs on Monday.  Gordon Hayward is questionable for tonight but missed yesterday’s practice which probably means it will be a big night for Mack as he carries a bigger part of the Jazz attack in a great matchup against Phoenix who has given up more fantasy points to opposing PG than any other team in the NBA.

Jerryd Bayless-Milwaukee Bucks (4,500): Another point guard who has been a regular if my value picks lately, Jerryd Bayless is in a good matchup in a possible revenge game as he and the Bucks host the Grizzlies tonight.  Bayless played for the Grizzlies for a season and a half before they traded him to Boston. He’ll face them tonight as he continues to start for the Bucks due to injuries to O.J. Mayo and Michael Carter-Williams.  Bayless has been boom-or-bust lately with a pair of games over 30 fantasy points and three games under 20 fantasy points in his last three.  Some of those down games have been in bad matchups, though, so hopefully against the injury-riddled Grizz he can get it going tonight.

Isaiah Canaan-Philadelphia 76ers (3,900): Canaan has been playing solid minutes again in the Sixers rotation due to all the injuries in the back court, and he has been fairly productive lately with at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last five games and six of his last nine.  He had 20 points for the second game in a row against the Nets on Tuesday and finished with 22.9 fantasy points. He’s a one-dimensional contributor, but as long as he’s starting and getting shots he’s worth a look at under 4K.

Briante Weber-Memphis Grizzlies (3,500): Fanduel’s cheapest starting PG in the NBA is definitely Briante Weber who is getting a ton of run in Memphis’s backcourt while Mike Conley is out.  Weber has played at least 32 minutes one each of his four games with the Grizz and has 19 fantasy points or more in three of those four games including a solid 23.6 fantasy points last night against the T-Wolves on 12 points, four assists, there rebounds, a block, and a steal.  Weber will get plenty of playing time tonight, and unlike Canaan he contributes across the board in a variety of categories.  He’s a solid cheap flier at PG tonight and will get time regardless of game situation as the Grizz head to Milwaukee.
