High Value PG

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (5,600): Collison got the start at PG on Wednesday and finished with 23 points, four assists, and 31.75 fantasy points. With Rajon Rondo, Marco Belinelli, and Ben McLemore all banged up, Collison is getting lots of run at both guard positions. He has at least 25 fantasy points in each of his last five games as a result, and he should be one of the key pieces in the Sacramento attack again tonight as they take on the Pistons.

Toney Douglas-New Orleans Pelicans (5,100): With Norris Cole still unable to return from a balky back, Douglas has continued to soak up the playing time and produces sold DFS lines from  his 5K price.  Douglas has at least 24 fantasy points in four of his last five games including a monster game against Golden State when he cleaned up in garbage time and totaled 46.25 fantasy points. Douglas will be a good play again tonight if he draws the start against the Blazers who have been getting beaten up by opposing PG lately. If starting-∗ If not starting-

Isaiah Canaan-Philadelphia 76ers (4,500):  If you have to go under 5K at PG, the safest option is the Sixers’ Isaiah Canaan who continues to start and get plenty of run at SG for Phily. Canaan had 15 points, four rebounds, and four assist last night to give him 27.5 fantasy points. He has scored at least 14 points in five of his last six game and has over 22 fantasy points in five of his last six.  He’s not likely to go off tonight against the Thunder, but he is a solid value.

Brandon Jennings (4,300): Like Douglas, another backup PG stepping up has been Brandon Jennings who is filling in for the injured Elfrid Payton. Jennings has started the last two games for Orlando  and has over 32 fantasy points in each of those two games. He had 16 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and 32.5 fantasy points on Wednesday against Charlotte and will be in a good matchup to produce again tonight if he starts against Kyrie Irving. If starting-∗ If not starting-

Seth Curry-Sacramento Kings (3,200): The Kings’ backcourt injuries forced Curry into big minutes for Sacramento on Wednesday, and he played well with five assists to go with 11 points to finish with 20.5 fantasy points. He’s the best ultra-cheap option at PG, especially if Rajon Rondo and Omri Casspi are both out again tonight.
