High Value SG

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope-Detroit Pistons (5,600): With Reggie Jackson’s status in doubt, KCP could get a lot of extra work tonight in a great matchup with the Kings who allow the fifth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG. Caldwell-Pope has at least 30 fantasy points in four of his last six games and a least 21 fantasy points in seven straight.  He has scored 18+ points in each of his last four and adds a little bit better peripherals than Zach LaVine.  If Jackson is out, he’ll handle enough of the offensive workload to make him a must play, but eve with R-Jax available, I think KCP is set up for success tonight against the banged-up backcourt of the Kings. No Jackson-∗ With Jackson-

Lou Williams-Los Angeles Lakers (4,900): Williams has played two games for LA after missing five games with a hamstring issue. He has played well in both those contests with 25.75 fantasy points against the Knicks on 15 points and five assists in his return and 29 fantasy points on 17 points and four rebounds agains the Kings on Tuesday.  Williams’ playing time is the big question since he’s sharing time with D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, and maybe Kobe Bryant, but if he’s on the floor against the Suns he can definitely produce, so I think he’s a sneaky-good play at just under 5K.

Hollis Thompson-Philadelphia 76ers (4,000): Another cheap SF option to take a look at is Hollis Thompson of the Sixers who has played at least 30 minutes in each of his last seven games and produced at least 20 fantasy points in six of those contests. He usually scores 10-15 points and adds in some solid rebounds and assists, so he’s a low-risk even though his ceiling isn’t quite as high as some other cheap options
