High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,100): It shows how great Boogie’s season as been that a night when he scores 20 points to go with 12 rebounds and totals 45.9 fantasy points is considered a disappointment.  Those were his numbers on Wednesday against the Pelicans.  He and the Kings take on the Pistons tonight as he’ll battle Andre Drummond.  It’s not a matchup I love for Cousins, but he’s always a threat to go off if he brings his top-level game. With so many other 10K options that are set up to produce and a solid group of value options at center, Boogie won’t be in my lineup tonight although fading him can be a dangerous proposition if he goes off for 70 fantasy points.

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (8,600): Towns has had a great rookie season and has kept things rolling in his last ten games with seven double-doubles. He has at least 30 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games with three games with 50+ fantasy points during that span.  Tonight, he’ll duel Dwight Howard down low, and I think Towns will end up with a solid game in a high-scoring game in Houston.

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (7,900): Drummond had 18 points and 18 boards in a solid night against Atlanta on Wednesday and has five double-doubles in his last seven contests with over 38 fantasy points in each of those double-doubles.  He’ll need to stay out of foul trouble tonight, but if he does he should be able to match up well with Cousins and Cauley-Stein.  He’s a solid play tonight with the upside of a monster game if he takes the matchup personally as Boogie comes to The Palace.
