High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (10,200): Davis had a strong game against the Kings on Wednesday getting to 50+ fantasy points for the third time in his last seven games. He had 27 points and 14 boards in that contest with two blocks and a steal.  He comes home tonight to take on the Blazers who have struggled with opposing big men all season. In his three previous games against Portland, “The Brow” is averaging 27 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks. He’s a good play at home tonight in this favorable matchup making him another good play at over 10K.

Alex Len-Phoenix Suns (7,100): Len didn’t have a huge game last night since he had to deal with the tough front line of the Jazz, but he should be ready for a monster night against the Lakers tonight.  He did still manage a double-double with ten points and twelve boards, but was held under 30 fantasy points for the fourth time in his last five games.  The good news for Len investors, though, is that he keeps getting plenty of shots and plenty of playing time.  With that being the case, I like his upside tonight against LA who he has yet to take on as a starter this season.

Nerlens Noel-Philadelphia 76ers (6,700): With Jahlil Okafor out, Noel has been able to slide to center for the Sixers and his play has dramatically improved.  Despite battling illness, he had 48.2 fantasy points last night against the Wizards with 14 points, 16 rebounds, seven steals, and two assists.  Noel has at least 27 fantasy points in six straight contests and has scored at least 12 points in each of his last eight.  He will be in a good matchup against the Thunder bigs tonight, but his defensive and rebounding stats are good enough to make him almost matchup proof in his current role for Phily.

Gorgui Dieng-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,400): The Rockets are the worst team in the NBA at defending opposing PF, so Dieng should be a good play as long as he takes the floor as expected. He’s probable for tonight with a hip injury, but it doesn’t seem to be anything that will hold him out unless it flares up during shootaround. Dieng has been back to putting up good numbers lately with at least 32 fantasy points in four of his last five contests including a solid 37.7 fantasy points he put up on Memphis on Wednesday with 15 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and three blocks.  He has multiple blocks in each of his last seven games and is a multi-faceted contributor who could go off in tonight’s favorable matchup in Houston.

Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,000): Harris recovered from one of his worst games with the Pistons with arguably his best performance since coming to Detroit in a trade deadline deal with Orlando.  Harris had 19 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists for 38.7 fantasy points against the Hawks on Wednesday after posting just 11.2 fantasy points against the Wiz on Monday. Tonight, he gets a good matchup against the Kings who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF.
