High Value SF

Joe Johnson-Maimi Heat (5,400): Johnson has had quite a renaissance with the Heat since joining them after being bought out by the Nets.  Johnson has averaged 15.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 0.9 steals in his nine games this month and has 24 fantasy points or more in four straight contests.  He is a relatively safe play against the Cavs tonight even though he probably won’t go off for a huge number.

Bojan Bogdanovic-Brooklyn Nets (5,200): Bogdanovic has scored 70 points in his last two games and suddenly become the go-to option in the Brooklyn attack.  He had 53.6 fantasy points against the Sixers on Tuesday and followed his 44 points with 26 more against the Bulls while finishing with 38.1 fantasy points. Bogdan has always been a streaky shooter, but he’s obviously found his groove since Johnson left and he stepped into the starting lineup. Since he’s one of the few reliable sources of offense, look for the Nets to keep letting him take all the shots he wants tonight against Detroit.

Jeff Green-Los Angeles Clippers (4,700): Green was held scoreless in his last game against Houston finishing with only three fantasy points, but he gets a grudge game tonight against the Grizzlies who he started the season with.  He’s a high-risk flier, but he has had a few good games with the Clippers and could find extra motivation to produce tonight.

Michael Beasley-Houston Rockets (4,100): Beasley continued to fit in well to the Rockets rotation with 17 points and six boards last night for 26.2 fantasy points. He has at least 25 fantasy points in four of his last five games which is a great value at just over 4K. Tonight, he’ll face the Hawks, but he’s getting enough run and fitting in well enough at PF in the Rockets small-ball lineup that he’s matchup-proof at this low of a salary.∗∗

Joe Ingles-Utah Jazz (3,800): Ingles has had two good games filling in for Gordon Hayward who is considered questionable for tonight’s game in Chicago.  On Tuesday, Ingles and 15 points, six steals, four rebounds, and two assists against the Suns for 32.8 fantasy points in 27 minutes.  He played even more minutes Monday against the Cavs when he logged 37 minutes while producing 17 fantasy points. If Hayward is out tonight, he’ll be a solid flier against the Bulls. No Hayward-∗ With Hayward-
